Personal information held by Null&Void is stored on systems located in Canada. We use Microsoft 365 (hosted in Canadian Microsoft data centres) for email and business communications. We do not use offshore storage services for client personal information.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include: access controls and authentication requirements; encryption of data in transit; regular security reviews; and confidentiality training for personnel who handle personal information.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Client contact information is retained for the duration of the business relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes (typically 7 years, consistent with CRA requirements for business records). Website log information is retained for no more than 12 months. Email correspondence relating to project inquiries is retained for 2 years after the inquiry is resolved.
